Panorama began trading in Liverpool on Great Homer Street Market.


The founder Mr. John Ward moved the business into their first furniture outlet in Townsend Lane Liverpool, and Roy Rotheram joined the company.


The company expanded into a number of outlets including Kirkstone Road North and Denbigh, Wales.


John Ward acquired Down Brothers factory in Claude Road, Liverpool.


The company adopted a new strategic direction and entered into the fitted kitchen market; soon after the Kirkstone Road North and Denbigh premises were sold.


Panorama Furnishing Mart Ltd. was formed.


John Ward retired and Roy Rotheram took control of Panorama Furnishing Mart Ltd, along with Mrs. Ward.


The first kitchen showroom was acquired in Townsend Lane.


The company won its first sizeable contract with Crosby Homes North West.


Roy Rotheram acquires the remaining shares of the company.


A kitchen showroom was opened on the Wirral.


Land was acquired on Belmont Road and construction of a factory and showroom facility soon began.


Work was completed on the purpose built factory and offices in Belmont Road.

Panorama expands further and completes two extensions to existing factory and offices.


New location was established for the Wirral based showroom, the former bank on Woodchurch Road was acquired.


A brand new production line was installed to cope with demand at the Belmont Road Factory.


The company expands again and work began in transforming the former bank premises into one of Wirral’s premier kitchen showrooms, now a well-known land mark for many.

Panorama updated and installed a new computerised management system to improve production and service.


ISO:9001 2008 accreditation was awarded to Panorama  Kitchens, Panorama also acquired FIRA status.


The industry was hit hard through recession; however Panorama Kitchens invested in software to help research the retail market and continued trading without the loss of personnel.


Above average growth and record turnover in both the domestic and contract markets for Panorama Kitchens, resulting in a recruitment drive in all areas of Design, Manufacture and Installation personnel.


Investment made in a new Glue and Dowell machine to enhance production.  Extra storage space created within our warehouse through the installation of a Mezzanine Floor creating an extra 5,000 square feet.


The first Quooker instant hot water tap was introduced into the appliance range. Panorama installed a superior fire alarm system providing extra security for its employees and the business.


Panorama Furnishing Mart Ltd. was formed.


The investment in 2013 into machinery enabled Panorama to hit record turnover figures in 2014 and where awarded the biggest ever single contract of 1.3 million.  Additions to our fleet of vehicles and achieving FIRA Gold Installation Accreditation (Only one of 3 independents in the country to do so) completed a very successful year.


Re-investment of profits in 2014 saw the installation of a state of the art Beam Saw and fully automated crane which, installed on a 3,000 square foot mezzanine floor was the first of its kind in Europe.  Our power supply into the building required doubling.  Acrylic doors introduced in 2013 became our best seller in this year and can be viewed in our newly refurbished Liverpool showroom. The launch of a brand new website has allowed us to share our achievements and exciting developments with our clients.


Not wanting to stand still, this year has already seen the start of our re-branding exercise with new signage for the front of the Liverpool and Prenton showrooms, and our fleet of vehicles.   A full change to ECO lighting in the factory, showrooms and offices.  Still to come for this year is the installation of a new Biomass Boiler system which is a Zero Carbon Waste Solution for disposing of waste and will provide an improved heating method for our factory.
